Victor Vergara

Dr. Vergara is an electrical engineer focused on neuroimaging data analysis with 10+ years of experience in research and development. He has served as research scientist at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, assistant professor at The Mind Research Network. He currently continues his research effort at the Tri-institutional center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS) [Georgia State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University]. Dr. Vergara interests include neurodegenerative diseases; traumatic brain injury, addiction as a neurological disorder, functional and anatomical brain connectivity; neuroimaging deep learning; biomarker research; multimodal imaging data fusion (sMRI-dMRI-fMRI+genetics).
