Nagur Shareef Shaik is a Computer Science professional currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the TReNDS Center with Dr. Dong Hye Ye. His research is focused on developing advanced diagnostic frameworks for complex brain disorders, specifically schizophrenia, and addressing vision-related problems using 3D MRI and Retinal Scan images. His objective is to create multi-modal machine learning algorithms capable of handling diverse modalities of data including images and text. Shareef is deeply passionate about using machine learning to advance traditional diagnostic practices.
