Janaya L. Taylor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research administration, financial management, and leadership. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Business Operations at the Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS) Center at Georgia State University, Janaya oversees the Center’s financial and administrative activities. Her role involves strategic planning, policy development, budget management, and the supervision of a dedicated operations team. Janaya’s leadership ensures that the Center remains compliant with funding guidelines while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
With a proven track record in managing complex tasks and a deep understanding of governmental accounting principles, Janaya has successfully led initiatives that have enhanced operational efficiency and financial management within the institutions she has served. Her expertise extends to the oversight of post-award grants and contracts, budgeting and forecasting, and the implementation of process improvements. Janaya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and an Associate of Arts in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, as well as a Business Manager Certificate from Georgia State University.
