Dharani Mandla is a master’s student and Graduate Research Assistant under Dr. Junqiang (Jacob) Dai. Her research investigates how adolescent brain development interacts with social contexts to influence social behaviors and mental health. Using neuroimaging, machine learning, and behavioral data, Dharani explores factors like social media, peer influence, and family dynamics. Her work aims to understand the role of the developing brain in substance use, risk-taking, and emotion-related disorders.
