Malvika is a PhD student in the Joint Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive & Affective Neuroscience track (PI: Dr. Vince Calhoun). With over 4 years of fMRI/EEG research experience at the Stanford brain stimulation lab, and a Masters in Neuroengineering from Columbia University, she is interested in applying her computational background to research neural mechanisms of altered cognition and emotion regulation in affective disorders and sex-specific biomarkers. Her long-term research goal is to aid the advancement of precision psychiatry via quantitative biomarkers and symptom-guided diagnostic processes.
In her free time, she is either playing tennis, swimming, or spending time with her cat.
