TReNDS Center & Georgia State University
I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from QUT and K.N. Toosi University of Technology, respectively, both in my home country of Iran. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Vince Calhoun, starting in 2024. At the TReNDS center, my primary focus lies in the development of novel analysis methods for neuroimaging datasets. Within my ongoing projects, I am dedicated to integrating statistical techniques with machine learning and deep learning, alongside signal and image processing methodologies. I firmly believe that understanding the complexities of the brain, the most complex system known to humanity, is highly important. By doing my PhD, I aspire to contribute significantly to the advancement of our knowledge, perhaps even I have been able to further our knowledge to even aliens with more complex brains.
